Female pelvic organs

Besides sonography (ultrasound), we also use magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to detect diseases in the female pelvic organs or to investigate unexplained discomfort. Since MRI does not make use of X-rays for image generation, the examination does not involve any radiation exposure.

Very good representation of the pelvic organs and urinary tract

We can represent the different soft tissues and clearly distinguish them from each other with our modern high-performance devices. Thus, for example, we can see areas on the intestine or in the pelvic area that are infected with endometriosis - a benign but often painful chronic disease in women, which occurs in the endometrium outside the uterine cavity.

Likewise, we can investigate the cause and extent of kidney, urinary tract or bladder diseases with the help of MRI.
